For over a decade, Andrea Gordillo has been a resident, cultural leader, and tireless advocate for the artist community in Lower Manhattan. She is running for New York City Council District 2 on a platform to: 

- preserve and increase the supply of affordable housing
- transition our neighborhoods to a green economy
- boost the arts and bring back our cultural vitality
